The Eat Rite Diner, located just south of Busch Stadium, is what an "American Diner" is all about! Eat at the counter on round bar stools, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located on historic Route 66, it has been serving the St Louis food classic "the Slinger", a hamburger served with fried eggs, hash browns, chili, cheese and onions on top, since about 1940. A juke box, and two pinball machines round out this classic downtown eatery!
